Design Survey for Spoken Mathematics
As part of a research project in the area of enhancing spoken mathematics equations for visually impaired users a survey has been created to obtain feedback for the design of a novel system.
We would be very grateful if you could take the time to complete the following design survey. The survey contains 5 sections and should take approximately 20-25 minutes to complete and will be online until Thursday 22nd of April.
You can find the survey at: http://www.surveygizmo.com/s/264031/section-1-participant-details
If you have any questions regarding the survey please do not hesitate to contact either Dr. Emma Murphy at (emma.murphy@computing.dcu.ie) or Dr. Donal Fitzpatrick (dfitzpat@computing.dcu.ie).
The survey has been tested using Jaws version 10 and Voiceover running on OsX 10.6.3. We hope that screenreader users will find the survey easy to complete, and the platform on which the survey has been designed is recognised as one of the more accessible ones. However, in some instances (particularly for users of Voiceover) information is repeated twice. We regret the inconvenience this may cause our users, however this is beyond our control.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for completing our survey. This work is made possible through the funding support of Science Foundation of Ireland (SFI).
