392<langstring xml:lang="en">Digital Multimodal Mathematics Books - New Standard, Possibilities and Outlook</langstring><p>With MathML-in-DAISY being formally accepted as the first modular DAISY extension by the DAISY consortium, it is now possible to produce and use scientific<br />
books for the blind containing formulae which conform to an international standard. In my speech, I will describe the implementation of mathematical equations<br />
into DAISY books and the manifold possibilities arising from this application. Furthermore, a short outlook into the future of exchangeable books overcoming<br />
traditional notation obstacles will be given.</p>
